Concourse Syllabus

Loyola has specific policies regarding required syllabus content. Please review our syllabus template page for more information. On this page, you will also find templates (plain and graphic) that can be adjusted to meet your particular pedagogical needs. You will also find a current copy of syllabus part II.

Loyola now uses Concourse Syllabus for our storage and repository needs. Please note:

Quality Matters

Quality Matters (QM) is a nonprofit, nationally and internationally recognized, faculty-driven course quality assurance organization. It provides instructors with tools and processes to continuously improve their online and blended courses through a rigorous review process organized around a research-based rubric of QM course design standards. It's grounded in research, driven by best practices, and it's a community that puts learners first.

Don't Cancel Class

The Center for Teaching, Research, & Learning, the Pan-American Life Student Success Center, and the Career Development Center have launched a “Don’t Cancel Class” initiative. When instructors go to professional development events, conferences, or have personal conflicts, they often have to cancel class. We know so many of our staff members have expertise they could offer our students and we invite everybody to participate in this new success and retention initiative.

Portfolium

Portfolium is a resource available to all Loyola faculty, staff, and students. It's a useful way for them to store their important projects, coursework, or information on upcoming and past meetings and presentations, while making those items available to others for viewing and assessment. Faculty can create a Portfolium submission link in their courses for students to access. With a well developed ePortfolio, students, faculty and staff can establish what sets them apart in an increasingly digital world.
