Forum for Research and Teaching in the Humanities

FoRTH (Forum for Research and Teaching in the Humanities) welcomes scholarly as well as creative projects from faculty of all ranks in the humanities and arts. Presentations can vary, depending on what's useful to the presenter: a pre-circulated draft (no more than article length) followed by discussion; a dry-run for a conference paper with Q&A; etc. Meetings will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the window, probably on Zoom for now. Please contact Hillary Eklund for more information: hceklund@loyno.edu

LGBTQ+ Group

LGBTQ+ Faculty & Staff Network

The group is open to all faculty and staff that identify as LGBTQ+.

Some possible ideas for the role of the LGBTQ+Network would be to offer social and professional support to the LGBTQ+ community at Loyola by holding coffee or lunch meetings, offering peer critiques and feedback on research/writing, sharing resources for classes, working together to support LGBTQ+ students and all students at the university, and organize other events across campus to assist with creating an even more inclusive campus community.

Please connect with us and share your experiences of LGBTQ+ life at Loyola.

We look forward to meeting all of you.

Kind Regards,

Rachel Wallace and Lindsay Sproul
